The US Navy launched 59 Tomahawk cruise missiles at the Shayrat Airfield in Syria in response to a chemical-weapons attack this week on civilians. The missiles were launched on Friday early morning from the Navy destroyers USS Ross and USS Porter, in the eastern Mediterranean Sea.
