Former Prez Pranab Mukherjee passes away Former President Pranab Mukherjee passed away today after battling a long illness. He was in a deep coma and his renal parameters were declared "slightly deranged", the hospital treating him had said recently. The former President had also tested positive for COVID-19 at the time of his admission, the hospital said.
