Lockdown, Day 30: Rising cases, falling growth Locked-down India may be in its worst quarter since the mid-1990s. Fitch today slashed growth projections to 0.8% in the current 2020-21 fiscal, highlighting the hefty cost of shutting the country down for 40 days. As India completes a month under lockdown, the country reported 21,700 cases, with 1400 cases being added in the last 24 hours.
